Truly a Happy Plate

Now your kid can reall make a happy plate. Fred and Friends Food Plate is just like that old toy you used to have where you take the magnetic pieces and make facial hair shapes in them. How fun would it be to do it with your food?

Go Ahead - Play with Your Food

We have always played airplane when trying to get both of our girls to eat. The youngest really took to it and we can get her to eat anything if we make it an airplane. I wonder what she would really do if her for was in the shape of an airplane.

what time is it?

This Mellissa and Doug clock is the cutest. i think my youngest would love to play with this toy. for the next occasion it will for sure be a gift for her!

Shoes that Grow

I came across this website and thought it was super cool. Basically these are shoes that can grow with the child. On the bottom it has the size, so as you pull it the size gets larger. Pretty neat. I know I have donated tons of shoes that never got worn out. It's a good idea to have a pair that actually can grow with the child! That's one of those "I wish I thought of that." Here is the link: http://www.inchwormshoes.com/

doodle car

I came across this when scouting the internet and thought it was a great idea. Aqua doodle has something similar, but this is done with marker instead of by pen. It's called the doodle track car by Daydream Toy. You just use a black marker and it will follow wherever you wrote. I know both my girls will love it!

mini mork and mindy chair

I saw this at IKEA on our trip to GA and it was super cute. When the kid gets in it the top rolls down completly over them. It also can spin in circles. It comes in several colors too. I added it to my want list, b/c it was to big to get on the plane.

monster head rest

This is new by Trunki (you know the guys that make that really cool ride on suitcase.) I love the crazy head rest they now have. I don't know if it's hit the US yet, but they are showing it on their site.

make the car ride a little more comfortable

I found this product called "go anywhere table and footrest." It's designed to keep your kids from getting pain from when their legs and feet fall asleep. It is compatible with a carseat or a booster. If you are planning a long trip in the car this would come in super handy. They can play games and draw with the tray that comes with it. It also can be purchased without the tray.

a light you will want to eat

If any mom out there is like me and is stuck watching iCarly quite a bit then you have seen this gummi bear light before. It sits on the kitchen counter next to their computer. I was searching around on the interenet and just happened to come across it. I love the design that's made by Jellio and it's perfect for any playroom.

book rack

I have been wanting a book rack forever for my youngest daughter's room. I have my eye on this one, which is at Land of Nod. I am waiting for it to go on sale. I plan to put it on the lower part of the wall, so she has easy access to it. It's pefect for her room. Pottery Barn Kids has a 3 tier one as well. My sister-in-law has that one and it's very nice. However, I just want a smaller more horizontal then vertical one, so this one would be perfect.

ball sprinkler

I saw this from Fisher Price come out last year and now I noticed Pottery Barn Kids came out with one similar (both are pictured) this year. I think this would a fun toy for the girls this summer, so I am for sure going to put this on my wanted list for the girls. It looks like it would be a fun summer activity we can do when it's super hot.

bouncy ball or pony?

This toy is just like those bouncy balls that kids sit and hop on outside, but it's a pony. You inflate it, but it's so solid you don't even realize it. It also has a base you can purchase that makes it rock. Here's the website that sells them http://www.rodytoy.com/ and they come in every color there. You can find them just about anywhere for sale though. When I saw them at the toy store I didn't even realize that you blew it up, b/c the plastic is so tough.

willies and macs

I love this umbrella. I also love everything else on this website under kids. From what I read Cath Kidston is a designer in the UK. Her prices aren't bad, but remember to do the conversion. Right now 1 pound is about $1.46 for the time being. They also have great sales every so often, so I book mark this and go back to the website, http://www.cathkidston.co.uk/c-116-kids-wellies-macs.aspx. The umbrella is under the section Willies and Macs. She has tons of school supplies, bags, clothing .... Oh, and for the deginer in you she offers fabrics and oilcloths.

searching for shells

I saw this one day when looking at toys on the internet and though it would be a great way to carry our shells around the next time we go to the beach. Next time we go on vacation to the ocean, I want to get one of these bags. Then my daughters can use their buckets for something else rather than to carry their shells! They also come in several colors. Just search for Kathe Kruse Shell Bag.

learn and play

These bouncy balls are very neat in design. I want to get them for my girls (of course I have to wait for an occasion.) They come in two different sizes. I figured I would get one in one size and the other a different for variety. I love the colors and the simplicity of the design. I believe they are made by Crockodile Creek. Once I get them, I will edit this post with any of my comments.
