This toy is just like those bouncy balls that kids sit and hop on outside, but it's a pony. You inflate it, but it's so solid you don't even realize it. It also has a base you can purchase that makes it rock. Here's the website that sells them http://www.rodytoy.com/ and they come in every color there. You can find them just about anywhere for sale though. When I saw them at the toy store I didn't even realize that you blew it up, b/c the plastic is so tough.
