We got this bowl when my daughter was 2. My husband was a huge non-believer. Of course he would pick the bowl up and throw it across the room and of course it would spill. However, for the most part it did it's job. If you have a tiny tot you know how it seems like they hold their bowl sideways the inner bowl will stay level. It even comes with a lid. It's called a Lunar Bowl.
